A traditional Irish Christmas carol, “Wexford Carol” is one of my favorite carol melodies. It has a bittersweet, ancient feeling to it. This arrangement was the first I wrote in college for harp + another instrument, and it confirmed in me and my teachers that I should do a masters degree in Composition!

This arrangement is for harp and cello, although I have an alternate (experimental) version for harp and euphonium. You can listen to that version here!

Download includes one copy of the score. I have found that cellists prefer to have the harp part with their music, since the imitative passage on the third verse can be a bit tricky.
